The rear garden is very large and secluded. It has a pond measuring roughly 30m x 12m (100’ x 40’). There are many trees and shrubs, including mature oaks, sycamore, ash and various conifers. There is a large gravel area containing many hydrangeas and other shrubs. The extensive lawn area has other beds containing many shrubs and trees. Power and water is available at various points in the garden. There is a granite edged stream of around 30 metres, which routes water from the roof to the pond, or which can be driven by a pump.

There is a large summerhouse of log cabin construction (3.00m x 3.81m, 9’ 10” x 12’ 1”) which is carpeted and overlooks the pond. It has power points, lighting and a ceiling fan. There is a covered balcony area in front.

There are two garden sheds for storing tools, and a static caravan with power and light, which is used for storage. This is concealed behind a trellis screen of honeysuckle and ivy

There are three separate paved patio areas and another lawn in different parts of the garden, near the house. There is a separate area for composting and storage, behind double gates.

The garden is a haven for wildlife.
